Dr. Memouna B. Wallace

Executive Director

As President and founder of the BNJ Foundation established in 2010, Dr. Wallace developed programs that addressed the pressing needs of the community. She studied medicine in Germany and graduated at the University of Erlangen- Nurnberg. Dr. Wallace yearly internship in Cameroon in internal medicine, surgery and gynecology in a public hospital was a life changing experience. She came to the United States and worked as a volunteer for various causes including the Ireland Army Community Hospital emergency room in Fort Knox KY, the Cancer Institute at the Sentara Healthcare Center in Hampton, VA. , and the Langley Airforce Base Pharmacy, Hampton, VA. Dr. Wallace founded the BNJ Foundation as a result of her experience at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center working with the Wounded Warrior Program, in the public hospital in Cameroon, and based on the principals and continuance of the work that her father started in Cameroon, Africa. She believes mentoring the youth is the most powerful tool to change a generation. So many children do not have parents and or mentors to guide them and many more do not have access to books where they can get simple information that could save their lives, assist children, and reduce the isolation of elderly around the world.

Ms. Min Kim

Regional Director, VA

Min Kim earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Science from George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC and is working on her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree through the Shenandoah University in Winchester VA. Min has received several awards and honors for her efforts in advocacy and community outreach. Min volunteered with the AMCP Mentor Mentee Program and the Genomic Opportunities for Girls in Research Labs. Min joined the BNJ Foundation in 2012 and currently served as the Regional Director in VA. She has been an active advocate for people in need helping to create change in the community

Ms. Chelsea Ryan

Director of Administration and Management Executive Assistant

Chelsea Ryan is the Director of Administration and Management and Executive Assistant of the BNJ Foundation. She joined the BNJ Foundation in 2014. Her primary responsibilities include managing the BNJ Foundations overall daily office operations. Chelsea is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration in Kansas. "I have a real passion for helpingâ", - said Chelsea adding that her mom consistently demonstrated a consistent sense of compassion while working at hospices for several years. "I watched my mom care for people at crucial times of their lives and my goal is to follow that model every day."
